BIO

After years spent practising photo-journalism in the Arab World and working as D.O.P of a number of documentary films, Fadi Yeni Turk’s career took a turn towards creative documentary making. He is the author and director of short and feature documentary films: "Demo", "Layn", "When the War sank in” and “Monumentum”. He is also known for his commitment to preserving Arab Music.

He directed a feature documentary about the famous Oud maker, Albert Mansour, and he co-curated the exhibition “L’Orient Sonore” for which he conceived twelve video installations, documenting endangered musical oral traditions in the Arab World.
