Emily Stone is an American actress best known for her roles in the films The Help, La La Land, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Emily Stone was born on November 6th, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona and raised in the area. From an early age, Emily showed a passion for the performing arts, winning awards for her singing and acting skills in local competitions. She attended Arizona State University, where she earned a degree in theater in 2011.

After graduation, Emily began her professional career with a series of small roles in television and film. She had her breakout role in 2011 when she was cast in the drama The Help, based on the novel by Kathryn Stockett. Emily played the role of Skeeter Phelan, a young white woman who befriends African-American maids in 1960s Mississippi. The role earned her recognition and the film was a critical and commercial success.

In 2014, Emily starred alongside Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the musical drama La La Land. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She followed this with roles in the films The Amazing Spider-Man, The Favourite, and Little Women.
