Duggie Fields (born Douglas Field on September 28, 1943) is an English actor, comedian, and television presenter, best known for his work in the 1970s and 1980s.

Fields began his career as a stage actor. He appeared in the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 1965, and went on to appear in several other plays, including “Twelfth Night,” “The Comedy of Errors,” and “The Taming of the Shrew.”

In the early 1970s, Fields began appearing in television shows and films. He had roles in “The Likely Lads,” “Last of the Summer Wine,” and “The Sweeney” before appearing in the film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” in 1975.

Fields’s career really took off in the late 1970s, when he began hosting the children’s television show “Tiswas” from 1974 to 1981. He also appeared in several films throughout the decade, including “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “The Great Muppet Caper,” and “The Return of the Pink Panther.”

In addition to his film and television work, Fields also appeared as a guest on several popular British television shows, including “Top of the Pops” and “The Late, Late Breakfast Show.”

Fields has continued to appear in film and television roles throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He had a small role in the hit British film “Four Weddings and a Funeral” in 1994, and appeared in the television show “Blackadder” in 1986.

In recent years, Fields has made guest appearances on several British television shows, including “The Bill,” “EastEnders,” and “The Weakest Link.” He also appeared in the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” in 2005.
