Devin Johnson is a Sound Artist & Filmmaker living in Los Angeles. He releases music under the moniker "Julia Bloop", named after two unidentified sounds recorded at the bottom of the ocean. His music & sound design have been featured in the Sundance Film Festival [2020], New York Film Festival: Projections [2019], International Film Festival Rotterdam: Tiger Short Competition [2019], and are part of the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection. His feature documentary "Shotgun", shot entirely on hi8 analog tape and an iPhone, was featured in Visions du Reel (2018) and the Eastern Oregon Film Festival (2018).
