David Wu is a Taiwanese-American actor who has become known for his work in both the US and Chinese entertainment industries. Born in Taiwan, he spent his early years in the United States, where he attended college and earned a degree in engineering. After college, he began working in the entertainment industry, first as a model and then as an actor.

His first big break came when he was cast in the hit Taiwanese drama series Meteor Garden in 2001.
