David Heyman

David Heyman is an English film producer best known for his work on the Harry Potter film series. He began his career in the entertainment industry in the early 1990s, producing TV shows and films. He is the founder of Heyday Films, which produced all eight of the Harry Potter movies.

Heyman was born in London, England in 1961. His father was a successful film producer and his grandfather was a banker. He attended the University of Oxford, where he studied English literature. After graduating, he worked in London's theater scene for a short time before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film.

In the early 1990s, Heyman produced several TV shows such as The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and Minder. He also produced the films A Little Princess (1995) and The Borrowers (1997). In 1999, Heyman founded Heyday Films, which produced all eight of the Harry Potter films, based on J.K. Rowling's bestselling book series.

Heyman's work on the Harry Potter series earned him immense success. He was awarded a BAFTA and a Producer's Guild of America Award for his work on the final Harry Potter film, Deathly Hallows Part 2. He also received the Order of the British Empire in 2011 for his contribution to the arts.
