Dave Rastovich (born 1981) is an Australian surfer, environmentalist and actor. He is best known for his surfing ability and his activism in protecting the ocean and marine life.

Rastovich was born in 1981 in Australia to a family of surfers. His father, Peter, was a big wave surfer and his mother, Margaret, was an avid diver and swimmer. Growing up, Rastovich was surrounded by the ocean and quickly developed a love of surfing and the ocean.

When he was 15, Rastovich began competing in professional surfing competitions. He quickly became a successful professional surfer, and by the time he was 20, he had won multiple world championships. In 2006, he was named the World Surf League’s “Surfer of the Year” for his ability to ride some of the biggest and most dangerous waves in the world.

In addition to his surfing career, Rastovich is also an environmentalist and actor. He has been a strong advocate for the protection of the ocean and marine life, speaking out against the destruction of coral reefs and advocating for sustainable practices. He has also been involved in several ocean conservation projects, such as the Surfrider Foundation and Save Our Seas Foundation.

Rastovich has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the 2013 film, “The Kings of Summer.” He also had a small part in the 2018 remake of “A Star is Born.”

To this day, Rastovich continues to surf and advocate for the ocean and its creatures. He is a passionate and dedicated environmentalist, and he hopes to inspire others to protect and preserve the ocean and its inhabitants.
