Dave Hickey is an American actor, writer, and director who has been active in the entertainment industry since the early 1990s. He is perhaps best known for his recurring roles on the television series, The X-Files, and Charmed.

Born in Los Angeles, California, in 1972, Dave Hickey was always drawn to the performing arts. He was involved in theater and musicals throughout his childhood and teenage years. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Southern California, where he studied theater and film. He then moved to New York City to pursue his acting career.

In 1994, Hickey made his television debut with a guest-starring role on the popular series, Law & Order. He then landed a series of guest-starring roles on shows such as ER, The X-Files, and Charmed. He also starred in a few made-for-TV movies, including A Different Kind of Christmas in 1996 and The Last Best Sunday in 1999.

In the 2000s, Hickey continued to work steadily in television, appearing in shows like Boston Public, Six Feet Under, and Entourage, as well as a variety of made-for-TV movies. He also branched out into the realm of feature films, appearing in the 2003 comedy, Just Married, and the 2007 drama, Rocket Science.

In addition to his acting career, Hickey is also a talented writer and director. He wrote, directed, and starred in the 2005 short film, Musicland, which was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. He also wrote and directed the 2011 feature film, The Silence, as well as the 2017 short film, I Don't Belong Here.
