Dan Snow is a British TV presenter, historian, and author who is best known for his work on the BBC series, Battlefield Britain and the BBC One show, Who Do You Think You Are?

Dan was born in London, England in 1978. His mother is the acclaimed historian Antony Beevor and his father is the author and historian Peter Snow. Dan was raised in Westminster and attended the prestigious Westminster School.

At university, Dan studied politics and international relations at the London School of Economics. Following his graduation, Snow went to work as a journalist, writing for publications such as The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph.

In 2003, Snow began hosting a series on the BBC called Battlefield Britain. The show focused on the major battles that shaped British history and featured interviews with leading historians. Snow went on to host several other documentaries for the BBC, including Who Do You Think You Are?

In addition to his work with the BBC, Snow also hosts his own podcast, Dan Snow’s History Hit, which focuses on history and current affairs. Snow also makes regular appearances on other British TV shows, such as The One Show. In addition, he is the author of several books, including The Wars of the Roses and On This Day in History.

Snow has also appeared in a variety of films and television shows, including the 2010 movie, Centurion, which starred Michael Fassbender.
