Daisy Beaumont is a British actress and singer best known for her roles in the West End musicals Mamma Mia! and Les Misérables. Born in Surrey, England, in 1982, Beaumont grew up in a musical family. Her mother, a professional dancer, and her father, an amateur musician, encouraged her to pursue her passion for singing and acting.

Beaumont attended the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she received her training in acting and singing. After graduating in 2004, she made her West End debut in 2004 in the musical Mamma Mia!, playing the role of Sophie Sheridan. Beaumont’s performance earned her critical acclaim, and she was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2005.

Beaumont went on to perform in other West End musicals, including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies and the 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables. She also appeared in the BBC’s Doctor Who and the film Kinky Boots.

In addition to her stage and screen credits, Beaumont has released two solo albums, “The Daisy Beaumont Collection” and “The Best of Daisy Beaumont.” She has also performed on television shows such as The Graham Norton Show and The One Show.

Beaumont is an ambassador for the charity “Friends of the Earth” and is a supporter of “The Prince’s Trust.” She is also a founding member of “Women in Theatre,” a group of female actors who are committed to increasing the representation of women in the performing arts.
