BIO

Chris White is a renowned film director who has worked on a variety of projects ranging from music videos to feature films. He has been described as a visionary and innovative filmmaker, often pushing the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.

Chris was born in London, England, in 1975. He grew up in a creative environment surrounded by art and music. He attended the University of Westminster and graduated with a degree in Film and Television.

After graduating, Chris began directing music videos for bands such as Radiohead, The Chemical Brothers and Primal Scream. His directorial style quickly became recognised and respected in the industry, with his music videos receiving numerous awards.

In 2004 Chris made his feature film debut with the critically acclaimed drama, ‘The Constant Gardener’. The film starred Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz, and was nominated for four Academy Awards.

In recent years, Chris has expanded his repertoire by directing television shows such as ‘Misfits’, ‘Luther’ and ‘The Night Manager’. He has also directed several feature films, such as ‘The Soloist’, ‘The Debt’ and ‘The Theory of Everything’.

In 2017, Chris was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Westminster for his contribution to film and television.
