Catriona MacColl (born 3 December 1954) is an English actress who has starred in a number of films and television series. She is best known for her roles in horror films, and for her collaborations with Italian director Lucio Fulci in films such as City of the Living Dead (1980) and The House by the Cemetery (1981).

MacColl was born in London, England. She began her acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in films such as Not Now, Comrade (1976) and The People That Time Forgot (1977). She had a small role in the popular British series The Professionals in 1978. In 1980, she starred in the horror classic City of the Living Dead, directed by Lucio Fulci. The film was a critical and commercial success, and established MacColl as a scream queen.

She then starred in Fulci's next film, The House by the Cemetery (1981). The film was a huge success and has since become a cult classic. MacColl received much acclaim for her performance in the film, and has since become a fixture in the horror community.

MacColl also appeared in other horror films such as The Beyond (1981), The New York Ripper (1982), and Conqueror Worm (1988). In addition to horror films, she has also appeared in more mainstream films such as The Scarlet and the Black (1983) and The Bride (1985).

In the early 1990s, MacColl began appearing in television series such as Casualty and The Bill. She has also appeared in several episodes of Doctor Who, in which she played a number of different characters. Most recently, she appeared in the horror-comedy series Peter Vs. the Wolf (2017).

MacColl has been married to fellow actor and director Simon Boswell since 1996. They have a daughter, Isabella, who is also an actress.

Throughout her career, MacColl has earned a reputation for being a talented and reliable actress. She has become a beloved figure in the horror genre, and continues to appear in films and television series.
