Barry Komisaruk is an actor, writer, director, and producer who has been a part of the entertainment industry for more than three decades. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Barry was raised in a family of entertainers. His mother was an actress and his father was a director, producer, and editor.

Barry’s career began when he was a child, appearing in commercials and television shows. He also appeared in several films of the 1970s and 1980s, such as The Wiz (1978) and The Incredible Shrinking Woman (1981). After graduating from high school, he attended the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied acting.

After graduating from Juilliard, Barry went on to appear in several television shows, including Saturday Night Live, The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, and The Cosby Show. He also starred in the Broadway production, The Me Nobody Knows.

Komisaruk also wrote and directed several films, including the award-winning feature film, The Apple (1980). The film was nominated for a Golden Globe and won several international awards. Barry also wrote and directed other films, including The Face of Fear (1985) and The Last Temptation (1987).
