Aura Mijares is a Mexican actress who is well-known for her roles in the theater, film, and television. She was born on August 21, 1970 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Mijares started her career in the theater and worked in various plays in Mexico City. Her performance in the play “La Casa de Bernarda Alba” was particularly noteworthy. She then went on to star in several films including “El Fin de la Noche”, “La Sombra de la Noche”, “La Virgen de los Sicarios”, “La Mujer de mi Vida” and “La Casa de los Espiritus”.

Mijares had her first leading role in the television series “Aurora” where she played the title role. This was a major hit and she became a star in Mexico. She then went on to star in several more television series such as “La Mujer de Judas”, “La Rosa de Guadalupe” and “La Tormenta”.
