Arthur Max (born 2nd June, 1961) is an American actor best known for his roles in the television shows Magnum P.I., Matlock, and The Jeffersons.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Arthur was the second of three children. His father, Henry, was a police officer and his mother, Edith, was a homemaker. Arthur was raised in a loving and supportive household, with his parents encouraging him to pursue his dreams.
From an early age, Arthur had an interest in the performing arts. He attended a local performing arts school, where he studied theatre, music, and dance. After graduating, Arthur continued to pursue his passion and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally.
Arthur began his career with small roles on TV shows such as Magnum P.I., Matlock, and The Jeffersons. He was also cast in a recurring role in the soap opera Falcon Crest.
In 1994, Arthur landed his breakthrough role in the television movie The Stranger Beside Me. He also appeared in several films, including The Wedding Planner, The Brothers, and The Whole Nine Yards.
