Alix Blair is a multi-award-winning director and producer whose work spans feature films, television, and digital media. Born in Los Angeles, California, Blair studied film and television at the University of Southern California. She honed her skills in the film and television industry working on projects such as The Mindy Project and Parks and Recreation.

Blair's feature film debut was the critically acclaimed drama, The F Word, which premiered at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival. Written and directed by Blair, The F Word follows a young woman's journey of self-discovery as she learns to navigate the complexities of modern dating. The film went on to win several awards, including Best Feature Film at the 2017 Austin Film Festival.

Since then, Blair has been consistently working on projects in both television and film. She directed the first season of the Netflix original series, Insatiable, starring Debby Ryan. Insatiable was nominated for two Critics' Choice Awards in 2019, including Best Comedy Series.

In 2020, Blair directed the critically acclaimed independent feature film, The Inheritance. The Inheritance stars Academy Award nominee, Melissa Leo, and follows the story of a woman who inherits her family's farm.
