BIO

Alexandra Roxo is an award-winning filmmaker and multi-platform creator who has made her mark as a leader in the New Age spiritual movement. She is best known for her feature film, Kiss Me, which premiered at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival and won the Audience Award at the 2018 Seattle International Film Festival.

Born in the small town of Waterville, Maine, Roxo developed a fascination for the arts and magic at an early age. She left home at 16 to pursue her passion and moved to San Francisco, California, where she studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. After graduating, she worked at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and began making short films.

In 2013, Roxo wrote and directed her first feature film, Kiss Me, which was released in 2018. The film follows two women on a journey of self-discovery through a spiritual awakening. The film was met with critical acclaim and won awards at the Seattle International Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Film Festival.

Roxo is also an active member of the spiritual community. She is the co-founder of New Age creative platform Moon Club, which has attracted over 500,000 members worldwide. She also co-hosts the podcast "Moon Club Podcast" and serves as a mentor for the online platform, Wild Soul Movement.

In addition to her film and spiritual work, Roxo is also an active advocate for mental health. She is the creator of the "Self-Care Sundays" program, which provides weekly guided meditation and yoga classes on Instagram Live.

Roxo has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Glamour, and The New York Times, and has spoken at major conferences including SXSW, TEDx, and the Women's March. She is also a TEDx speaker and a contributor to The Huffington Post.
