Alex Galin is a Russian-American actor, director, and producer who has appeared in numerous television shows, films, and short films. He is best known for his roles in the films The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street, and The Revenant, as well as his appearances in the television shows House of Cards, Mad Men, and The Mindy Project.

Galin was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the United States when he was four years old. He grew up in New York City and was exposed to theater and film from a young age, which sparked his interest in acting. He attended the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and went on to study acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Galin made his film debut in 2010 in the film The Departed, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon.
