Alessandra Tocco is a photographer, videomaker, and 1st AC focus puller, born in Cagliari in 1994. After graduating from the Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical High School of Quartu Sant'Elena, she moved to Bologna in 2014 to study photography and cinema. Upon completing the Cinematography, Camera Operation, and Editing program at the National Academy of Cinema in 2018, she attended a Master’s in Cinematography at UCLA. Since 2015, she has worked as a freelance photographer and videomaker for reportage, portraits, commercial shoots, tourist resorts, live streaming, cultural and/or sports events. At the same time, she creates photographic books and takes part in experimental audiovisual projects, short films, and independent feature films. She is currently based in Sardinia and Piedmont, working as a visual artist, freelance camera assistant and focus puller.
