Since she was a child, Valentina's parents were blurred figures while she was growing up with her grandparents, who took charge of her upbringing. But many years later, she decides to face this family taboo in order to find answers and outline those vague images.
Through interviews with her grandparents and her parents, and making use of archival material, home videos and a first-person narration, the filmmaker makes a family dissection and at the same time an essay on filial roles and the designs of destiny.
