Zhuo Xiang is an up-and-coming Chinese film director who has quickly gained recognition in the film industry. Born in Beijing in 1984, Zhuo has always been passionate about filmmaking from a young age. He studied at the Beijing Film Academy and graduated in 2006 with a degree in directing.

Since then, Zhuo has made a number of short films and documentaries, winning several awards in the process. His most successful short film, "Mountain Home", was awarded with the Grand Prize at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2010.

In 2012, Zhuo made his feature film debut with the romantic comedy "Love Me Not". The film was well received by critics and audiences alike, and was the highest grossing Chinese film of the year.

Zhuo's follow up film was the historical drama "The River Mountain". The film was highly praised for its stunning cinematography and complex story. It was the winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2015.
