BIO

Vlad Yudin is a Ukrainian-born film director, film producer, and documentary filmmaker. He is best known for his documentary films and feature films, such as The Road to Fame, Fearless, and The Works.

Yudin was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1977. At the age of 17 he moved to the United States and studied film at the University of Southern California. After graduating, he directed several short films and music videos. In 2004, he directed his first feature film, The Road to Fame, which was released in the United States and Europe. The movie follows a young man’s journey to become a professional wrestler. It received critical acclaim and was a success at the box office.

In 2005, Yudin directed Fearless, a documentary about a former Russian boxer who was wrongfully convicted of murder and sent to a Siberian prison camp. The film won several awards and was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival.

In 2008, Yudin directed The Works, a psychological thriller about a young doctor who is trying to unravel a mysterious patient’s past. The movie was released in the United States and Europe and received positive reviews.

In 2009, Yudin directed the documentary The Cipher, which follows the lives of three former inmates of the notorious Soviet Gulag prison system. The film was released in the United States and Europe and received several awards.

In 2010, Yudin directed the documentary A Million to Juan, about the plight of illegal immigrants in the United States. The film was released in the United States and Europe and was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival.

Yudin’s most recent documentary, The Man Behind the Myth, was released in 2014. The film follows the life of legendary boxer Mike Tyson. It was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival and received positive reviews.
