Vincent Guilbert is a French director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work on films such as The Irreversible, The Innocents, and The Red Room.

Guilbert was born in Paris in 1972. From an early age, he was passionate about films and storytelling. He went on to attend the prestigious universities of Paris 8 and La Sorbonne, and graduated with a degree in literature and film studies.

After graduating, Guilbert worked as an assistant director and scriptwriter for several French television shows and films. In 2000, he made his directorial debut with the short film La Chambre rouge (The Red Room). He went on to direct his first feature film in 2002, Les Innocents (The Innocents).

The Innocents was a critical success, earning Guilbert numerous awards, including the prestigious César Award for Best First Feature Film. He followed this up with his second feature film, L'Irréversible (The Irreversible), in 2003. This film was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Since then, Guilbert has continued to direct and produce films, as well as write screenplays. His most recent film, La Fin du monde (The End of the World), was released in 2018. He is currently working on two upcoming projects, La Malédiction des anciens (The Curse of the Ancients) and La Trilogie des morts (The Trilogy of the Dead).

Vincent Guilbert is a talented director and screenwriter whose work has earned him numerous awards and recognition.
