Vedrana Pribačić is a Croatian documentary director and journalist. She holds a master's degree in politics from the University of Political Science in Zagreb. She worked as a television reporter for most major TV stations in Croatia before turning to documentary filmmaking. Her first documentary, The Factory Is Ours!, a short work, received recognition upon release. Her second film and first feature, Bigger than Trauma, premiered at the International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox, where it received the Audience Award and a Jury Special Mention, and went on to have its international premiere at Hot Docs. The film has accumulated ten awards, including the Heart of Sarajevo for Human Rights at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and became the first Croatian official representative for the Goya Awards in the Best European Film category. Vedrana is a member of the Croatian Society of Filmmakers and is drawn consistently to socially engaged subjects.
