Tom McQuade is an American film director, producer, and writer. He has been involved in numerous projects spanning from television shows to feature films.

Tom McQuade was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 20th, 1978. He grew up in a middle-class family and attended St. Ignatius College Prep. He furthered his education at Northwestern University where he majored in film and television production.

Tom McQuade’s career began in 2002 when he directed the short film, “The Day After Tomorrow”. The film was well-received and earned him his first award, “Best Student Short” at the Chicago International Film Festival. This success led to him being hired as a writer and director for the television show, “The Unit”, which ran from 2006 to 2009.
