Tiit Ojasoo (born November 5, 1962) is an Estonian theatre director, actor, and playwright. He is considered one of the most innovative and influential figures in the contemporary theatre world in Estonia.

Tiit Ojasoo was born in Tallinn, Estonia. He studied theatre directing at the Tallinn State Conservatory in 1984. Upon graduation, he joined the Estonian Drama Theatre as an assistant director. He soon became the head of the theatre’s new director’s team.

In 1995, Tiit Ojasoo co-founded the Von Krahl theatre, which is now considered to be one of the most influential theatres in Estonia. His productions have been praised for their bold and innovative approach, often incorporating elements of visual theatre and unexpected theatrical devices. His directing style has been described as “dynamic, intense and spectacular”.

Throughout his career, Tiit Ojasoo has directed over 50 plays. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Estonian Theatre Union Prize in 1994 and the Annual Estonian Theatre Award in 2002. In 2006, he was awarded the Baltic Sea States Award for Culture and Art.

In addition to his directing work, Tiit Ojasoo is also a respected playwright. He has written several plays, including “The Last Glass” and “Estonian Dream”. He is also a member of the Estonian Theatre Union and the Estonian Writers' Union.

Tiit Ojasoo has also been active in the film industry. He has directed several shorts and served as executive producer on the feature films “Estonian Dream” and “Dirty Money”.
