BIO

Tiago Hespanha is a Portuguese film director, producer and screenwriter. He is known for his unique style of filmmaking, which blends elements of comedy, horror, drama and science fiction.

Born on April 29th, 1986, in Lisbon, Portugal, Tiago was raised in a small town outside the city. His father was a lawyer and his mother was a schoolteacher. From a young age, Tiago developed an interest in film and storytelling, often spending time at the local movie theater watching a variety of films.

In 2009, Tiago attended the Lisbon Film School, where he learned the fundamentals of film production and directing. During this time, he wrote and directed two short films which were both accepted into international film festivals. His first feature film, “The Witch”, was released in 2012 and gained international recognition. This film was followed by a string of successful films, including “The Way of the Wolf” (2014), “The Return of the Beast” (2015), and “The Monster” (2016).

Tiago is also a producer and screenwriter. He has produced numerous films, including the award-winning “The Witch”, as well as the horror films “The Way of the Wolf” and “The Return of the Beast”. He has also written several films, including “The Monster” and “The Witch”.
