Born in 1967 in Basel, Switzerland. He studied Film and Video at the HGKZ, University of Art and Design Zurich, between 1993 and 1998, graduating with a diploma in 1998. Since then, he has worked as a freelance filmmaker and artist. Between 2006 and 2010, he was a lecturer in film at the HEAD, Haute École d’Art et de Design in Geneva, and at the ECAL, École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. Since 2007, he has been a lecturer in the film class at the F and F School for Art and Design in Zurich.
