Takeshi Nozue is an acclaimed Japanese filmmaker and game director. He is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed video game series Final Fantasy, and for directing the computer-animated fantasy film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.

Nozue was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1969. He attended the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, graduating in 1992 with a degree in animation. After graduation, he joined Square Enix as an animator and worked on the video game series Final Fantasy.

Nozue quickly rose through the ranks of Square Enix and began directing projects. He was the co-director of Final Fantasy X-2, and the director of the CGI movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He was also the chief director of the CGI movie Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, a spin-off of the video game Final Fantasy XV.

Nozue's work on the Final Fantasy series has earned him numerous awards and accolades, including the Japanese Academy Award for Best Animation in 2005 for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He was also nominated for the 2008 Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize for Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.

Nozue has also worked on other video game projects, such as the action RPG The World Ends with You and the action-adventure game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fate. In addition, he has directed the animated short film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and the feature film The Little Witch Academia.

Nozue is considered one of Japan's most talented directors, and he is renowned for his skill and innovation. His works have been praised for their visual beauty and creative storytelling. Nozue continues to be a major force in the video game and animation industries, and his influence can be seen in many of today's popular titles.
