Stephen Kijak is an award-winning film and television director from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his work in documentaries, music videos, and television shows.

Kijak began his career in the music industry, directing music videos for artists such as The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and Moby. He also directed several documentaries, including Scott Walker: 30 Century Man and We Are X, a look into the world of Japanese rock band X Japan.

In 2013, Kijak directed the feature film Katarina's Nightmare Theater, a horror-comedy starring genre icons Robert Englund and Bill Moseley. The film received positive reviews and was an official selection at numerous international film festivals.

Kijak has gone on to direct several episodes of television shows like AMC's Better Call Saul, HBO's Vinyl, FX's The Americans, and Netflix's Narcos. He has also directed episodes of the popular MTV series Catfish: The TV Show.

Kijak has won over 20 awards for his work, including two Emmy Awards for directing the documentary We Are X.
