Sheldon Rochlin is an award-winning producer and director of television and film. He is best known for his work on the television series “The Closer”, “The Mentalist”, and “NCIS: Los Angeles”.
Rochlin was born in New York City, New York, in 1970. He was raised in a Jewish household and attended public school. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video Production.
Rochlin began his career in the television industry as a production assistant in 1992. He was quickly promoted to a director’s assistant and then to a director. He has since gone on to direct more than a dozen episodes of “The Closer”, “The Mentalist”, “NCIS: Los Angeles”, and other television shows.

Rochlin has won several awards for his work in television and film. He won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2004 for his work on “The Closer”, and he was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Movie for “A New Life” in 2006.
Rochlin continues to work in the television and film industry. He is currently involved in multiple projects, including the upcoming feature film “The Duel of the Century”. He is also involved in a number of philanthropic activities, and has donated money to organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross.
