Seung-Ho Choi is a South Korean director, writer, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He is one of the most acclaimed and influential filmmakers in South Korea, having been nominated for several awards, including the Grand Bell Awards, Baeksang Arts Awards, and the Korean Film Awards.

Choi was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1974. He attended the prestigious Seoul Institute of the Arts, where he received a degree in Film Theory. After graduation, Choi worked on various short films and television shows, including the critically acclaimed drama series “My Love from the Star” (2013).

In 2013, Choi made his feature film directorial debut with the coming-of-age drama “Boomerang Family”. The film was met with critical acclaim and was selected for the Busan International Film Festival. It also earned Choi the Grand Bell Award for Best New Director.
