BIO

Sean Conant is a critically acclaimed director of television, film, and digital media. He is best known for his work on the hit series Scandal, The Americans, and most recently, Yellowstone.

Conant was born in San Diego, California in 1973. He attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production. After graduating, he began working in the television industry, first as an assistant director on the series Undressed.

From there, Conant went on to direct episodes of popular shows such as Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds. He quickly gained recognition for his visual style, creative storytelling, and ability to bring out the emotions of each character and story.

In 2012, Conant directed his first feature film, the critically acclaimed drama Compliance. The film was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

Since then, Conant has become one of the most sought-after directors in TV. He has helmed episodes of some of the biggest shows on television, including Scandal, The Americans, and Yellowstone. His work has earned him three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

In addition to his television and film work, Conant has also directed digital media projects, including a series of short-form documentaries for the National Geographic Channel. He is currently working on a feature-length documentary about the impact of climate change in Alaska.
