BIO

Saxon Logan (born August 23rd, 1987) is an Australian director, writer, and producer best known for his feature films, music videos, and commercials. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Will Smith, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake.

Logan was born in Brisbane, Australia. Growing up, he was heavily influenced by his father, a professional photographer, and mother, an avant-garde artist. He attended the Queensland College of Art and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production.

Logan’s career began in 2008, when he was hired as a camera assistant on an independent feature film. From there, he worked on a number of short films, music videos, and commercials. In 2011, he wrote and directed his first feature film, “The Rover”, which was released in Australia to much critical acclaim.

After his success with “The Rover”, Logan went on to direct a number of music videos, commercials, and other projects. In 2013, he directed a music video for the band “Sleigh Bells”, which premiered on MTV and received wide acclaim. Later that year, he was hired by Rihanna to direct her music video for “Stay”. The video was released in early 2014 and quickly became one of the most popular videos of the year.

In 2015, Logan wrote and directed his second feature film, “The Lighthouse”. The film was released to great critical praise and was nominated for several awards. In 2016, he directed a commercial for Adidas featuring Will Smith, which was released worldwide.

Since then, Logan has gone on to direct a number of high-profile projects, including a commercial for Apple featuring Justin Timberlake and a documentary about the Sydney Opera House. His most recent project is a feature-length documentary about the life of the late singer-songwriter, Prince.
