Sakis Brönnimann (born in Zürich, Switzerland, 1980) is a Swiss film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his feature films, documentaries, and shorts that often focus on the lives of immigrants and refugees, as well as social and political issues.

Brönnimann graduated from the prestigious Zurich University of the Arts in 2004, where he studied film and television production. After graduation, he worked in various roles in the Swiss film industry, including as a director of photography and as an assistant director. In 2008, he directed his first feature film, "The Refugee". The film was a critical and commercial success, and was shown at festivals around the world.

In 2010, Brönnimann's documentary "The Wall" was released, which was also critically acclaimed. The film follows the story of a group of refugees who attempt to cross the Swiss border in search of a better life.

In 2012, Brönnimann directed his second feature film, "The Silent Ones". The film tells the story of a group of immigrants living in Switzerland, and their struggles to make a life for themselves in a new country. The film was a critical success, and won several awards.

In 2014, Brönnimann released his third feature film, "The Traveler". The film follows a young refugee who is trying to find his place in a new country. The film was well-received, and was selected for the Zurich Film Festival.
