Ross Killeen is an award-winning film director, producer and founder of Motherland. His IFTA-nominated documentary Don’t Forget to Remember premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award and the Special Mention Documentary Award, and later screened at Sheffield DocFest, Krakow and Docs Ireland. His debut feature Love Yourself Today, also nominated for an IFTA, had a theatrical release in Ireland and received widespread acclaim. Under his leadership, Motherland has produced acclaimed shorts such as A Song, No Timewasters, Wife of the Future, Call Me Mommy, 99 Problems and Becoming Men, establishing the company as a leading producer of authentic documentary and scripted films that connect deeply with audiences. As founder and owner, Killeen oversees Motherland’s full creative slate and strategic direction, guiding its collaborations with Screen Ireland on a range of documentaries, features and shorts.
