Robin Brown is an American film director best known for his work on the 2016 drama film The Trial. He is also known for his work on the 2017 drama film, The Great Divide, and the 2019 crime drama, The Darkest Hour.

Brown was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1975. After graduating from high school, he attended film school at Columbia University. He quickly developed a strong passion for storytelling and began making short films. His first major success was the award-winning short film The Trial, which he wrote and directed in 2012.
