Ray Phoenix is an award-winning film and television director from Brooklyn, New York. He has been making films since the age of ten and has since produced and directed thirty-five feature-length films and documentaries, as well as several award-winning television series.

Born in Brooklyn in 1975, Ray Phoenix grew up in a creative and artistic home. His father was a painter and sculptor, and his mother was a fashion designer. Ray spent much of his childhood and teenage years exploring his creative side, particularly through the medium of film. He enjoyed making short films with his friends, and by the age of 18, he had already produced and directed several short films.

In 1995, Ray Phoenix graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production. After graduation, he went on to produce and direct a feature-length documentary, which won numerous awards.
