Raúl Capdevila holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Barcelona. He completed a Master’s Degree in Creative Documentary and a Postgraduate Degree in Film Editing at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
In 2017, he co-directed his first feature documentary Judas alongside three other filmmakers. The film was selected at several national festivals, including Alcances (Cádiz), Docs València, and Miradasdoc, where it received the award for Best National Documentary.
In parallel, he has worked as an editor for the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) and as a freelance professional. Since 2019, he has collaborated with the Huesca International Film Festival (HIFF) as a member of the selection committee for documentary projects.
