Rasheed J. Daniel is an American director and film producer known for his work in the genres of horror, comedy, and drama. He is also co-founder of the production company, Nite Owl Cinema.
Rasheed was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Columbia College Chicago, where he graduated with a degree in filmmaking. After college, he worked as a freelance director and editor for several years before founding Nite Owl Cinema in 2015.
At Nite Owl Cinema, Rasheed has directed and produced several projects, including the horror anthology series A Night at the Movies (2017), the horror-comedy feature film All I See is You (2019), and the drama series The Last Boys (2020). He has also directed music videos for artists such as Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi, and Lupe Fiasco.
Rasheed has also worked on projects with some of Hollywood’s biggest names, such as Jamie Foxx, Seth Rogen, and Snoop Dogg. He has also served as a producer on the films The House That Jack Built (2018) and The Invisible Man (2020).
