Peter Dickson is a British television and film director, producer and screenwriter. He has directed numerous television series and feature films, including the award-winning drama Mrs. Brown's Boys.

Dickson was born and raised in London, England. He attended the University of Sussex, where he studied film and television production. After graduation, he worked as a camera operator and freelance director in the United Kingdom and Italy.

Dickson's first major success came with the BBC drama series, Casualty, which he directed for four years. He then went on to direct a number of other television series, including Doctors, Holby City, and the long-running BBC soap opera EastEnders.

In 2011, Dickson wrote and directed the award-winning drama Mrs. Brown's Boys, which has become one of the most successful British television comedies of all time. The show has been nominated for numerous awards, including two Emmy Awards, a BAFTA Award, and a Critics Choice Award.
