Giedrė Žickytė (born November 16, 1979) is a Lithuanian director and screenwriter. She is best known for the internationally acclaimed films The Summer of Sangailė (2015) and When We Talk About Love (2020).
Žickytė was born and raised in Lithuania. She began her career in film as an assistant director on the set of the Lithuanian production Akmens Vilkas (2005). She then went on to direct her first feature film, The Summer of Sangailė, in 2015. The film was a critical success, and was selected for the Cannes Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival.
In 2016, Žickytė was recognized for her work by the Lithuanian Film Academy, which awarded her the Silver Crane Award for best directing.
