Pedro Serra is a Spanish director and screenwriter who has worked extensively in television, cinema, and theatre. Serra began his career in television in 1990, directing episodes of various Spanish television series. He made his feature film debut in 1995 with the comedy "El Viento" and continued to direct a variety of films, including the romantic comedy "¡Ay, Carmela!" (1996) and the drama "Trampas y Caretas" (1998).

In 2000, Serra wrote and directed the critically acclaimed drama "Besos para Todos". The film, which was nominated for 11 Goya Awards, depicted the lives of a group of children living in a rural village in Spain in the 1950s. The film's success established Serra as a major figure in Spanish cinema. In 2004, Serra directed the drama "El Bola", which won the Goya Award for Best Film.

Throughout his career, Serra has continued to work in television, directing episodes of various Spanish series, including "Los Serrano" (2003-2004), "Hospital Central" (2009-2010), and "Velvet" (2014-2015). Serra also directed the television film "Al Final del Tunel" (2015).
