BIO

Pasakorn Pramoolwong, born in Thailand on April 8, 1983, is a Thai director and film producer. He is best known for his work on the award-winning films ‘The Theory of Everything’ and ‘The Revenant’.

Pasakorn began his career in the media industry at a young age. He studied filmmaking at the Bangkok Film School and went on to work as an assistant director for a number of Thai television shows and feature films. Pasakorn then went on to work as a director and producer for a number of short films and documentaries.

In 2010, Pasakorn made his feature film debut with the movie ‘The Theory of Everything’. The movie went on to win a number of awards including two Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award for Best Picture. Following this success, Pasakorn went on to direct and produce the movie ‘The Revenant’ which was nominated for twelve Academy Awards.

Pasakorn has since gone on to direct a number of feature films, including ‘The Flight of the Phoenix’, ‘The Revenant’, and ‘The Great Wall’. He has also produced the movies ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘The Social Network’, and ‘The Martian’.

Pasakorn has been recognised for his work as a director and producer by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. He also received the National Film Award from the Thai Ministry of Culture for his work on ‘The Theory of Everything’.

Pasakorn is a highly respected and accomplished filmmaker. He has made a significant contribution to the world of cinema with his innovative and creative vision. He will continue to be an influential figure in the industry for many years to come.
