Nebojša Slijepčević is a prominent Serbian film director, screenwriter and producer who has been active in the entertainment industry since the mid-1990s. Known for his visually arresting and emotionally charged works, Slijepčević has earned numerous awards and accolades for his work in both film and television.

Born in 1975 in Belgrade, Serbia, Slijepčević developed a passion for the arts early in life. He attended the renowned Belgrade Academy of Arts and Film, where he studied film directing. Upon graduating in 1998, he quickly landed a job directing television commercials. His work in the commercial world soon caught the attention of the film industry, and he made his feature film debut in 2000 with the comedic drama ‘The Final Battle’.

Slijepčević’s feature film career has seen him create a wide range of films, from comedies to dramas to thrillers. His most acclaimed films include the 2007 drama ‘Gravediggers’, the 2009 comedy ‘The Uninvited’, and the 2012 thriller ‘The Stalker’. His films have been featured in numerous film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival, where his film ‘The Stalker’ was the first Serbian film to ever be screened at the event.

Slijepčević has also been active in the television world, directing episodes of the popular series ‘The Paper’ in 2014 and ‘Ljubav u zaledju’ in 2016. He has also produced a number of films, such as the 2014 drama ‘The Black Sun’ and the 2016 comedy ‘The Flight of the Flamingo’.

In recent years, Slijepčević has become a leading figure in the Serbian film industry. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the Special Award for Best Director at the Belgrade International Film Festival, the Grand Prix at the National Film Festival in Niš, and the Best Director award at the Belgrade Film Festival.
