Natasha Duchene is a Canadian film and television director and producer. She is best known for her work on the Emmy-nominated series Hemlock Grove and the feature films Lifechanger and Dead Shack.

Natasha was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and attended Ryerson University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies. After graduating from Ryerson, she worked in the production department of the television show The Listener and then in production on the television series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.

In 2012, Natasha directed her first feature film, Lifechanger, which won the Audience Choice Award at the Atlantic Film Festival and was selected for the Toronto International Film Festival. She then went on to direct the horror comedy Dead Shack, which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival, and was a selection at the Sitges International Film Festival.

In 2014, Natasha was hired as the lead director on the Netflix series Hemlock Grove, created by Eli Roth. The series was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects, and Natasha was nominated for a Directors Guild of Canada award for Best Direction in a Dramatic Series.

In addition to her feature and television directing, Natasha has directed several music videos for artists such as Lights and The Elwins, and was selected to participate in the Canadian Film Centre’s Prime Time TV Program. She is currently in pre-production for her next feature film, The Donors.

Natasha Duchene is an up and coming director who is quickly making a name for herself in the Canadian film and television industry. With her unique visual style and her ability to bring out the best in her actors, she has created some of the most memorable characters and stories of the past decade. She is a director to watch and her career is only just beginning.

Known for
