Mazin M. Sherabayani is an Iraqi-American film director and producer. He is best known for his feature films, including "The Breadwinner" and "The Music Room."
Sherabayani was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1972. He moved to the United States with his family in 1981, settling in California. He studied filmmaking at California State University, Fullerton, and then at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Sherabayani's first feature film, "The Breadwinner," was released in 2006. The film follows the story of a young Iraqi girl struggling to survive in the aftermath of the Iraq War. The movie was a critical and commercial success and was nominated for several awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

"Iraqi Lullaby" follows a group of Iraqi musicians who are trying to keep their music alive in the midst of war and destruction. "Saving Face" tells the story of a group of Iraqi women who are struggling to rebuild their lives after the war.
