Martin Schilt is a film and television director from the Netherlands. He is known for his work on the popular Dutch television series, 'Door Vriendschap Sterk' (Through Friendship Strong).

Schilt was born in the Netherlands in 1975. He studied film at the University of Amsterdam and graduated with a degree in film studies in 2000. After graduation, Schilt moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in directing.

He started out directing music videos and short films before eventually directing a feature film, 'The Burning Light'. The film received critical acclaim and won several awards, including the Dutch Film Festival audience award.
