Marília Rocha is a brazilian director who directed "Where I Grow Old" (2017), which won Best Film and Best Director at the Brasília Film Festival, "Like Water Through Stone" (2010), which won Best Film at the São Paulo Latin American Film Festival, Acácio (2008) and "Cattle Callers" (2005), which won Best Film at the É Tudo Verdade Festival.
In addition to their theatrical releases and participation in Brazilian and international festivals, the films were shown at museums such as MoMA, NewMuseum, Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum (USA) and the Musée d’ethnographie de Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
Her work as a whole was shown in special exhibitions at the Dockanema Festival in Mozambique, the Scandinavian Brazilian Film Festival, the Rio de Janeiro Directors’ Week, the Visions du Réel Festival in Switzerland and the Ourense International Film Festival in Galicia.
She also works as a teacher, collaborator on selection committees and jury for audiovisual festivals and competitions. She is currently filming " Between the Mountains", his next film.
