Marcos Pimentel is an award-winning director, screenwriter, and independent producer specializing in creative documentary. He holds a degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, and completed a postgraduate program in Documentary Cinema at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany. He also earned degrees in Social Communication from UFJF and in Psychology from CES-JF, both in Brazil. Since 2009, he has been a professor in the Documentary Department at EICTV, helping to shape the next generation of filmmakers. His body of work has received numerous national and international awards and has been screened at more than 700 film festivals worldwide.
